Barney AGE: 2019 BREED: Half Draft SEX: Gelding SIRE: DAM: Description: We call him Barney, not like the purple dinasaur, tho the kids would love that - think more like Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show. Not even in the sense of being silly or incompitent (because he is FAR from that), but more in the sense of a partner in crime that is always trying to do the right thing. Always there when you need him - a partner that's willing to do what is needed to get the job done. Classic. Just like the show, the memories made with this guy will be held tight with the family/person who ends up with him. The stories of adventures will be told to anyone that will listen. He's a perfect horse for the entire family. Update: 3/8/24 - There was an AQHA show in town and they offered the All Breed Western Pleasure class. While riding around, we made Jodie Ploog (fellow trainer) take him for a spin and she had so much fun she asked if she could show him - so she did! They were so great! Mark warmed him up a little before the class, Jodie had no warm up and just went in and had fun! Barney was his usual amazing and behaved self just out there building his fan club! Spirit AGE: 2019 BREED: Gypsie Cross SEX: Gelding SIRE: DAM: Description: Spirit is a beautiful 15.2 hand buckskin Gypsie cross. He is a for sure a go to horse if you want to ride, don't have a ton of time-you want to have a fun, uncomplicated & relaxing ride. We bragged on Rocky above for having smooth movement to him - well Spirit can hang with that too! His lope is incredible!!! You could sip your morning coffee safely while loping around on his back. He's got a turnaorund, yeids off your legs, does the ball and the tarp, broke to drive & he also lays down on command! We love the cross breds and are excited to bring you another special one! Rolex is as fancy as his name! He is SO FRIENDLY! Has a perfect personality, in your pocket but not pushy at all! His ground manners are essentially perfect, he doesn't make a wrong move. He knows and honors the mounting block command even if he's on the end of a 40ft longe line. He keeps things very simple and does not complicate things under saddle, he yields to your legs and hands very willing. He's also very athletic and has an excellent turnaround and stop - he will stop before you finish saying the word "whoa". He has experience going up and down the trails and over all types of country. He rides in the arena like he does outside of it. Rolex is so trainable and good minded, he will also lay down on command. Whata Honey - SOLD AGE: 2015 BREED: AQHA/APHA SEX: Mare SIRE: Whata Smokey Cash (x NU Cash Cow) DAM: Busy Four 17 Description: "Snickers" was originally purchased and intended to be for my children and I to share. When I got her she had been used for roping on a ranch in Nebraska (branding in video), I don't rope, but I have swung a rope off of her (also in video). When I started riding her I did take her back to the basics, she was good, but I wanted her to know her leads better and give her face and body a little better...long story short she basically has taken to her training. I pushed a little bit of the reining on her to see if she would do it, she did. I got to the point where I thought I could try sliders and we started working on our stops and she does want to stop! I didn't anticipate her to be a performance horse, but the potential is most certainly there. In the mean time, I had purchased a pony for my kids and now that they want to ride more, I need to spend the time I have with them and their ponies. Snickers would be the perfect horse for someone who wants to do it all. Literally, I have jumped with her, drug a raft up the river pulling a child, drug logs in the woods, if I can dream it up, she will most likely be asked to do it.
