Sired by a Percheron and out of an AQHA mare, he’s the perfect blend of substance, sensibility, and color. Started by the Amish at the beginning of his 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old years, Hank is broke to drive both single and double. After each round of training, he returned to his breeders to work on the ranch and explore the trails across the Midwest and the Black Hills. Hank is kind, honest, and uncomplicated. Not even in the sense of being silly or incompitent (because he is FAR from that), but more in the sense of a partner in crime that is always trying to do the right thing. Always there when you need him - a partner that's willing to do what is needed to get the job done. Classic. Just like the show, the memories made with this guy will be held tight with the family/person who ends up with him. The stories of adventures will be told to anyone that will listen. He's a perfect horse for the entire family. Update: 3/8/24 - There was an AQHA show in town and they offered the All Breed Western Pleasure class. While riding around, we made Jodie Ploog (fellow trainer) take him for a spin and she had so much fun she asked if she could show him - so she did! They were so great! Mark warmed him up a little before the class, Jodie had no warm up and just went in and had fun! Barney was his usual amazing and behaved self just out there building his fan club!
