"Sunny Buns" AGE: 8-10 (2017-2015 - Vet verrified) BREED: Half Draft SIRE: Halflinger DAM: Pony - 13 Hands Description: This pony came from the most loving home! They had a hard time parting with him for sure! They were very honest and said he doesn't lope. We watched some of the videos they had and figured he just wasn't schooled on it. There were videos of him loping beauitfully in the pasture, but we wouldn't know until we got him. Once we got him, his first ride was with Maisy bareback in a rope halter! He is the sweetest boy! We even let her go out on the trials with him for the first time and he was flawless! I'm going to be honest - I completely understand why nobody taught him to lope under saddle. His trot is so comfortable and he is so good with the kids! I am not sure we'll teach him to lope either! lol He was an unexpected addition to our family of horses, but we're not mad about it! :-) *Update 11/10/25 - Mark says the pony lopes and he has faith he will be a loping pony! lol **Update 11/26/25 - Sunny Buns lopes!

| "Big Bob" AGE: 2023 BREED: Half Draft SIRE: Percheron DAM: Quarter Horse Description: "Big Bob" - This is one of the stars of the show for us! He's a young gelding that came from Janssen Performance Horses in Rush City, MN. We are familiar with their horses and their style of horses and we all LOVE a big body, big boned, sturdy animal that can perform. Anita also has an amazing feeding program so this guy we know hasn't been held back nutirtionally. I've included a photo below of him in December 2024 (We got him early 2025.) We did a bit of ground work with him and then in the Spring decided to send him to a trainer to get broke for driving. (Included a video.) He spent three months learning to drive and then spent the rest of the year in the pasture just growing. We've put maybe a total of 30 rides on him and he will be turned out for the winter now. "Sleepy Joe" AGE: 2022 BREED: Half Draft SIRE: Percheron DAM: Quarter Horse Description: When we first met "Sleepy Joe," we had a different name in mind - Vance. (It was an election year - lol) We figured he would fill out and be very handsome (we were right), but we didn't realize he'd also be one of the calmest, most laid-back horses we've ever had. Within a week of him being in the barn, Mark went to bring him out and found him flat-out asleep. He looked too peaceful to bother, so Mark just left the stall door open for him to wander out when he felt like it. A few nights later, we drove out to check horses in the pasture. Every head popped up when the lights hit - except Sleepy's. He laid there, snoring away, not a care in the world. Makr finally said, "Honk your horn," and then he lifted his head ever so slowly, very unbothered like. He is the definition of quiet! Even if he does get some energy or the idea that he should be affraid - he reacts in slow motion. It's nothing like we have ever experienced! Chunky is the only other gelding that has come close. (Chunky is the gelding the kids ride - his reactions to chaos were also not normal.) That is the story on Sleepy Joe. One more thing to mention on him, he is a 2022 model, but he had to have been born late in the year for how small he was when we got him. We are treating him as if he is a 2023 model. Training wont be pushed until we feel comfortable he can physically handle it. So he is getting saddled and rode for about 2 weeks here in November of 2025 and going out to winter pasture until spring 2026.
